# What are the rules on holiday, probation and notice in Sweden?

Employees in Sweden are entitled to 25 working days of holiday a year. Holiday pay is 12% of earnings, or the same-salary rule with a supplement for each holiday day.

A probation period can last up to 6 months, and the employer must give 2 weeks' warning before ending it. After that, the employer's notice period is 1 month for under 2 years of service, rising to 6 months after 10 years. Employees give 1 month. We set all of this up correctly in the contract.
