JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Data Integration Engineer, you will play a critical role in enabling Bislab’s international expansion by integrating new data sources into the platform. Each new country launch involves connecting approximately 30 external APIs and handling diverse, often messy data formats. This role sits at the intersection of technical problem-solving and scalable execution, ensuring integrations are implemented, tested, and validated for seamless performance.

Responsibilities:
- Connect external APIs, and file deliveries and integrate them into Bislab’s data platform.
- Map and transform data across different systems and formats.
- Handle legacy file formats and complex or “messy” data integrations.
- Implement, test, and validate new integrations to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with core engineering teams to ensure integration quality aligns with the platform’s architecture and standards.
- Support faster scaling by building repeatable, efficient integration processes.

Requirements:
- Proven experience working with data-heavy applications or platforms.
- Proficiency in C# .NET , experience with AWS and/or Azure is a plus.Â
- Hands-on experience with APIs, system integrations, and data mapping.
- Comfortable managing diverse file formats, including legacy or non-standard structures.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Understanding of large-scale, data-driven application environments.
- Focusing on integration work rather than core platform development.
- Must be able to read Norwegian or Swedish.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Bislab’s domain or similar industries.

- A background check will be required.
- Candidates must be based in and hold citizenship from an EU or NATO country.

Salary:Â
Up to $6,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
