Fronted was founded on a simple belief: Great talent is everywhere. Companies just need a better way to access it.

Our story starts with Hans Kjellby, co-founder of SafetyWing, where they scaled the company to more than 100 people distributed across the globe. Along the way, through trial and error, Hans and the team became experts in global hiring. Not just finding great people, but also building the infrastructure to handle everything that comes with it: contracts, cross-border payroll, benefits, compliance, and admin.

What became clear was this: Most companies don’t have the time, resources, or know-how to build global teams themselves.

Hans kept hearing the same thing from founders and operators in his network; they wanted access to top talent, regardless of location, but global hiring was too complicated, too risky, and too distracting from their core mission. And none of the existing solutions truly solved the problem.

Freelancer platforms: Good for short-term gigs, but hard to assess quality, and churn is high.

Outsourcing agencies: You’re stuck with a generic pool, not the right person for the job.
