JOB DESCRIPTION
We need a UI/UX Web Designer with some product thinking, someone who can design a templated website that allows us to launch bespoke websites for funeral homes. This isn’t just about visuals; it’s about utilising a repeatable, scalable design system that feels custom and premium for each client, without building from scratch every time.
‍
Company Brief Description:
FUNERALPAY
FuneralPay is building a modern ecosystem for funeral homes—starting with beautifully designed, functional websites that act as gateways into a wider range of financial and memorial services. We're rethinking how funeral directors can serve families online, combining empathy, design, and technology.
About the Role:
‍
Responsibilities:
- Design a modular website template system tailored to funeral homes.
- Customize each client site based on branding (logo, colors, layout preferences).
- Ensure websites are intuitive, elegant, and fast to deploy (target: 2 days from sign-up to launch).
- Collaborate with developers to integrate templates into a broader product ecosystem.
- Think like a product designer—balance personalization with scale, speed, and automation.
- Occasionally support light content updates or design changes post-launch.
- Familiarity with Design Systems
‍
Requirements:
- Strong skills in UI/UX design, especially for web (Figma preferred).
- Ability to create and work within a flexible component-based design system.
- Eye for elegant, conversion-friendly, and brand-aligned visuals.
- Some product thinking: can simplify complexity and spot ways to scale.
- Empathy for users—especially in sensitive, trust-driven industries.
Preferred:
- Prior work with agencies or white-label platforms.
Salary:Â
Up to $2,500 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
