What are the rules on holiday, probation and notice in Denmark?
Employees in Denmark earn 25 days of holiday a year, 2.08 days for each month worked, plus a holiday supplement of at least 1% of salary.
A probation period of up to 3 months can be agreed in the contract, with 14 days' notice during that time. Under the Salaried Employees Act, the employer's notice is 1 month in the first 6 months, then 3 months, rising to 6 months after 9 years, always to the end of a month. Employees give 1 month. We set all of this up correctly in the contract.
