About the Role:

Responsibilities:

• Design scalable, secure, and flexible system architecture for AI-driven underwater vision.
• Ensure reliability of systems for commercial use in aquaculture and subsea environments.
• Assess, select, and implement the latest technologies, frameworks, and infrastructure tools.
• Translate business goals into technical strategy, balancing innovation with pragmatic decision-making.
• Guide and mentor developers, data scientists, and engineers on best practices.
• Drive system modernization while maintaining operational security and compliance.
• Oversee integrations between AI models, cloud infrastructure, and real-time data processing pipelines.

Requirements:

• Entrepreneurial and proactive – you spot opportunities and act on them quickly.
• “10× engineer” mindset: able to balance deep technical execution with strategic foresight.
• Deep expertise in Python, AI, and computer vision, with proven experience in productionizing and commercializing solutions.
• Familiarity with real-time data processing, edge computing, or IoT-based architectures.
• Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and data protection standards in high-trust industries.
• Ability to balance custom builds vs. leveraging existing platforms and tools pragmatically.
• Security clearance is a plus (NATO clearance is a plus).

Salary: 

Up to $4,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
