About the Role:
Responsibilities:
- Design scalable, secure, and flexible system architecture for AI-driven underwater vision.
- Ensure reliability of systems for commercial use in aquaculture and subsea environments.
- Assess, select, and implement the latest technologies, frameworks, and infrastructure tools.
- Translate business goals into technical strategy, balancing innovation with pragmatic decision-making.
- Guide and mentor developers, data scientists, and engineers on best practices.
- Drive system modernization while maintaining operational security and compliance.
- Oversee integrations between AI models, cloud infrastructure, and real-time data processing pipelines.
Requirements:
- Entrepreneurial and proactive – you spot opportunities and act on them quickly.
- “10× engineer” mindset: able to balance deep technical execution with strategic foresight.
- Deep expertise in Python, AI, and computer vision, with proven experience in productionizing and commercializing solutions.
- Familiarity with real-time data processing, edge computing, or IoT-based architectures.
- Strong background in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of cybersecurity, compliance, and data protection standards in high-trust industries.
- Ability to balance custom builds vs. leveraging existing platforms and tools pragmatically.
- Security clearance is a plus (NATO clearance is a plus).
Salary:Â
Up to $4,000 per month, based on experience and qualifications.
