JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Junior Accountant to support Norwegian accounting firms with day-to-day financial operations. This role involves managing core accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining strong communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
You will be part of a professional accounting team that values precision, efficiency, and collaboration across borders.
About the Role:
Responsibilities:
- Managing the accounting functions for Norwegian accounting firms.
- Data entry of payables, receivables, and general journal vouchers.
- Period-end reconciliation.
- Continuous learning of Norwegian tax and accounting systems.
- Basic Norwegian language learning.
- Communicate with Norwegian accountants and clients.
- Any other tasks related to the accounting profession.
Requirements:
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, Accounting Technology or related accounting course.
- Entry-level candidates with excellent scholastic records or professionals with at least one (1) year of relevant experience.
- Working competency in any accounting software.
- Fluent English language skills – verbal & written.
- High degree of computer literacy, including extensive knowledge in Microsoft Office 365 and Google Workspace.
- Ability to multitask, is independent, and able to organize daily, weekly, and monthly priorities.
Preferred:
- CPA license is an advantage.
- Familiarity with the following Norwegian accounting systems: Tripletex, PowerOffice Go, Visma, or 24SevenOffice.
Salary:
Up to PHP 23,000 per month during the probationary period.
